This is the renewed version of my old drawing. I've redrawn the lineart and changed quite a lot in the composition, but I'm too tired now to clean it up :3

The Saurians are tribal species, ruled by either a monarch or a tribal council of elders. Quick to anger, they are warlike, but incredibly loyal to each other. They have assumed an "us against the world" approach because of their history, and, while partnerships and treaties may be established with other races, it's incredibly difficult to turn one saurian against another.

With their naturally aggressive tendencies, the Saurians will tend to push toward the more extreme options. This doesn't mean that all situations end in conflict, it's simply that the Saurians are not a species of "settlers". They feel they have been kept down long enough and that the time is now for them to reach their place and destiny in the world.
